The Care Ministry is a Food Closet which strives to help the needy with emergency food in difficult times.

 

We operate on a weekly basis, serving those who live in the Denair, Turlock, Keyes, Hickman, Waterford area. Each Wednesday from 5:15 pm to 6:15 pm, we provide one box of food per family per month. Due to the difficulty in getting appropriate boxes donated, we will be transferring your food into whatever container you bring. Please bring eco-friendly shopping bags or boxes, etc.

 

The first time you come, you will need to register. We need to see a photo ID (this needs to be of the person who registers and will pick up each month), and proof of residency in our service area. A utility bill, a deposit receipt for utilities, etc. (We do NOT need IDs for all family members, and we will NOT need social security cards).

 

 The Food Closet and Cafe are closed for the summer, and will reopen on September 7th.  Emergency food need may be requested by calling the church office, (209) 667-0168, and the request will be forwarded to the Care Ministry Director.
